DC Rivals HyperCoaster Backwards Seat Price Dropped
The price to ride the DC Rivals HyperCoaster backwards has been slashed from $30 (AUD) to $20 (AUD). While we're not sure if this is off-peak pricing or part of a new dynamic pricing strategy, it's definitely a welcome change for thrill-seekers.
We believe this pricing adjustment may be a trial to see if the seat gets filled more frequently instead of going out empty, which we estimate to be 70% of the time.
This change also follows Leviathan at Sea World's backwards seat price being dropped to $10 per ride. We are confident in saying that this is a direct reaction from Village Roadshow Theme Parks to Dreamworld's decision to decrease the cost for riding the Steel Taipan Spinning seat to $20 for regular guests and $15 for pass holders.
Not to mention, other rides have had their Fast Track price reduced.
