Today marks the commencement of significant developments at Warner Bros. Movie World. As construction projects unfold within the park, thrill-seekers alike are eagerly anticipating the unveiling of new attractions and enhancements.

The Flash: Speed Force Begins low speed testing

Exciting videos have emerged from Warner Bros. Movie World as the Flash Speed Force ride has commenced testing. Guests inside the park have reported witnessing low-speed swing tests, marking a significant step forward in the ride's development. The Flash Speed Force, an Intamin halfpipe shuttle coaster.
The ride's testing phase signifies progress towards its grand opening which was scheduled to be April but since removed from all park marketing.
We anticipate that the ride will open in mid to late May, depending on when the seats and harnesses arrive.

Wizard of Oz Precinct

Meanwhile, the Wizard of Oz Precinct construction has reached a major milestone, with the project now fully completed. This world-first precinct promises enchanting experiences for visitors, featuring two new family-friendly rides: "Flight of the Wicked Witch" and "Kansas Twister." The meticulous craftsmanship and attention to detail in the precinct's construction are sure to immerse guests in the magical world of Oz.

Pico Play Article

Earlier this week the company Pico Play released an article about the Wizard of Oz Precinct.
"Pico Play partners with Warner Bros. Themed Entertainment and Village Roadshow to bring The Wizard of Oz to life in a groundbreaking theme park venture. In Malaysia, 95 artists and engineers meticulously craft the beloved film's iconic locations, from Emerald City to the Wicked Witch's eerie forests. The collaboration marks a milestone in Australia's theme park scene, introducing two new roller coasters and immersive experiences.
Executive director Darren McLean highlights Pico Play's innovative approach, promising captivating narratives and engaging characters. The area pays homage to the movie with key scene recreations and vibrant colors. Before construction, Warner Bros. Themed Entertainment personnel approved the project's design in Malaysia.

This news is uplifting, especially considering the park's silence on the matter. Notably, this company is also contracated for the theming of River Town at Dreamworld. We eagerly anticipate the outcomes of both projects.

School Holiday Wait Times

As thousands of people flock to Warner Bros. Movie World for the school holidays, understanding wait times becomes crucial for maximizing the fun. Today, DC Rivals hit a peak wait time of 60 minutes, the highest in the park, as reported by Queue Park. Other major rides ranged from 60 to 30 minutes.

Despite the high waits, slight relif can be expected tomorrow as Superman Escape reopens from maintenance. When operated efficiently this ride is internally described as a "capacity monster".

With this beloved attraction back in action, the distribution of crowds across rides is likely to improve, providing shorter wait times for visitors.

Other notable closures over the school holiday period are Doomsday Destroyer & and Marvin the Martian: Cosmic Boom

Is Fast Track Worth it?

During the upcoming school holiday period, from April 5th to April 22nd, we recommend considering the Fast Track option at Warner Bros. Movie World. While the system allows only one use per day, it can significantly enhance your visit, especially if you're spending just one day at the park.

For single-day visitors, Fast Track can help minimise wait times and maximize your enjoyment of the attractions. However, if you plan to visit the park on multiple days during the holiday period, we suggest arriving early and staying until closing time to make the most of your time without needing Fast Track.
