Kansas Twister has begun Testing!

Warner Bros. Movie World achieved a key milestone this week, as the Kansas Twister completed its first official test ride in the new for 2024 World Class, Wizard of Oz precinct. With last month’s installation of the coaster trains into the barn, the park has now moved into the commissioning phase, progressing toward the ride's highly anticipated opening in Early December 2024.

The first test ride gave a glimpse into the Kansas Twister’s twisting, family friendly adventure through the Kansas farmlands, inspired from The Wizard of Oz. The attraction promises an immersive, storm-filled experience that will leave guests feeling as if they’ve been transported into Oz.

The test run is a significant step in ensuring the ride meets safety and operational standards, keeping the project on schedule for its debut later this year. As Movie World prepares to unveil the Wizard of Oz precinct, which will feature multiple new attractions, guests can expect even more updates in the lead-up to December.
