Kids’ WB! Fun Zone

Kids' WB Fun Zone is a themed attraction in Warner Bros. Movie World on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia based on the Looney Tunes cartoons. The attraction was originally named Looney Tunes Village and was renamed in late 2007 when two new rides were added. At the same time, the Australian Kids' WB TV show began filming at the theme park.

History

Kids' WB Fun Zone is a themed attraction located in Warner Bros. Movie World on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia. It is based on the popular Looney Tunes cartoons and serves as a vibrant and entertaining area within the theme park. The attraction was originally named Looney Tunes Village and underwent a rebranding in late 2007, coinciding with the addition of two new rides and the filming of the Australian Kids' WB TV show at the theme park.

Visitors to Kids' WB Fun Zone can immerse themselves in the world of Looney Tunes and meet and greet iconic characters such as Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, and others.


Attractions

Junior Driving School

A mini-cars attraction where children can drive their own cars around a miniature version of Warner Bros. Movie World. This ride replaced the Looney Tunes River Ride.

Looney Tunes Carousel

A carousel featuring various Looney Tunes characters for guests to ride on.

A splash pad attraction where children can cool down and have fun getting wet.

A children's Drop'N Twist ride that opened in April 2023 themed to Marvin the Martian.

Road Runner Roller Coaster

The Road Runner Roller Coaster is a Vekoma Junior Coaster that opened on December 26, 2000, at Warner Bros. Movie World on the Gold Coast, Australia. The 335-meter ride features an incline of 13 meters and reaches a top speed of 45.9 km/h. The ride is themed to Wile E. Coyote and Road Runner.

History

On June 30, 1996, Roadrunner Achterbahn opened at Warner Bros. Movie World in Germany, designed by Ryan Harmon and themed by Botticelli's - Atelier der angewandten Malerei and Sanderson Group. The Road Runner Roller Coaster opened at Warner Bros. Movie World in Australia on December 26, 2000, modelled after Roadrunner Achterbahn.
