New Park Update - May 2024

Today, 16th of May, Warner Bros. Movie World's latest Park Update has been released, and has shed light on several key developments in the park:

Superman Escape

The ride is currently facing a Hydraulic Launch System issue, leading to an anticipated 6-week closure. However, to mitigate the impact of reduced capacity, DC Rivals HyperCoaster is set to reopen soon.

Additionally, the park will initiate a queue redesign allowing guests to carry loose articles up to the boarding point.

Scooby Doo Spooky Coaster.

While limited progress has been made, discussions with Mack Rides, the manufacturer, are ongoing for a complete refurbishment and technical upgrade. New ride vehicles and track components have been confirmed, with production underway in Germany. The ride's reopening is tentatively scheduled to reopen sometime in 2025.
