Upcoming Ride & Attraction Closures at Movie World: July to September 2024

As we move into the latter half of the year, several rides and attractions at Warner Bros. Movie World will undergo scheduled maintenance. Below is a list of the upcoming closures from July to September 2024, so you can plan your visits accordingly.

Ride Closures

Green Lantern Coaster

• Closure Dates: 22 July, 2024 - 20 September, 2024
• Details: The Green Lantern Coaster will be closed for nearly two months for routine maintenance

Looney Tunes Carousel

• Closure Dates: 24 July, 2024 - 21 August, 2024
• Details: The Looney Tunes Carousel will be undergoing its annual maintenance. This family attraction will be back in action just before the end of August.

Yosemite Sam Railroad

• Closure Dates: 22 July, 2024 - 19 August, 2024
• Details: This classic attraction will also be closed for almost a month.

Speedy Gonzales' Tijuana Taxis

• Closure Dates: 02 September, 2024 - 06 September, 2024
• Details: This short closure in early September will give the attraction a quick tune-up.

Attraction Closures

Looney Tunes Splash Zone

• Closure Dates: 07 August, 2024 - 04 September, 2024
• Details: This water play area will be closed for almost a month, just in time for the spring season. Make sure to visit before the 7th of August.

Roxy Theatre

• Closure Dates: 22 July, 2024 - 09 August, 2024
• Details: The iconic Roxy Theatre will be closed for a couple of weeks for scheduled maintenance. It may potentially reopen with a new show.

With these closures, it’s essential to plan your trip to Movie World to make the most of your visit. Although these rides and attractions will be temporarily unavailable, they will return hopefully better than ever after their maintenance periods.
