Wild West Falls Reopens After Annual Maintenance

Wild West Falls, Warner Bros. Movie World's beloved log flume ride, has officially reopened today, July 10th, following its annual maintenance period. Originally scheduled to be back in operation on June 25th, the ride has been undergoing a 'soft reopening' phase since Sunday, June 7th.

One noticeable change to the attraction is the modification to the rider restraints. The minimum close position of the harness has been adjusted. A new sign at the entrance of the ride states:

"Rider restraints must meet a minimum required close position. Due to the restrictive nature of the harness, some riders may experience difficulty meeting harness requirements. Please use the test seat to determine rider suitability."

Despite the reopening, the ride is currently operating at reduced capacity.

The reason for this is unclear, but there are rumours that only a handful of boats have been updated with the new minimum close position lap bars, while the rest are still being configured. This has not been confirmed, but we will keep you updated as we learn more.
